Welcome to the Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China stretches across China from east to west like a massive dragon. It winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains, and plateaus. The wall stretches 5,500 miles. The wall was constructed over 2,000 years ago. Some parts are now in ruins. What is left of today's wall was mostly built during the Ming Dynasty. Originally it was built during spring and autumn. It began as different walls for different states. It became "great" in the Qin Dynasty. Emperor Qin Shihuang succeeded in joining the walls together.
